Robert Mũnũku is an independent award-winning visual artist, writer, film director, teacher & entrepreneur from Nairobi, Kenya. He is an unorthodox philosopher, lover of the creative & lover of nature.
Mũnũku is a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow (2013, Austria), alumnus of The British Council’s Creative Enterprise Programme (2019, Ethiopia), member of the Nafasi Network (United Kingdom), member of the African Crossroads network, Board Observer for In Place Of War (U.K.), contributing writer to Brainstorm Kenya, a 2-time nominated Kalasha International Film Festival Producer (Kenya) and one of the most content-prolific independent filmmakers in the country.
Mũnũku is also the Founder & CEO of Mau Mau Arts, a PanAfrican organisation that specialises in offering services in visual art creation, film, music production, & creative education.
