I could tell you hundreds of reasons why the album, and especially the mixtape, is fucking awesome, but honestly, I'm not going to sit here and try and tell you why I love it, you tell me why you do, or why don't. I started creating music and taking actual progressive steps towards professional production about 2 years ago, before that it was mainly just a hobby. I would sit there in my shitty 1994 Ford F-150 rapping about everything from dolphins blow-holes to Porcelain Lochness Monsters (TM) . It wasn't about the hopes of fortune and fame that made me want to make music, it was honestly more of a "The shit on the radio is repetitive and boring as balls and I want to add something nobody has ever heard before to mix" type of thing. The first album, 'Inertia', was produced on an iPad Mini using GarageBand. After that I would take in track outs of each instrumental to one of the local recording studios and get it mastered. As satisfied as I was with the outcome of the album, it was still something that I wish I had more money to create the way I had intended on, with real instruments, not on a fucking iPad Mini. By the time the album dropped on September 18th, 2015, I was already half-way done with the second album, 'Backtrack'. I told myself that 2016, all year, I would tour and promote the first album. But I couldn't, I was too stoked about working on the second one. By July of 2016 I had already finished and dropped the second album, this time with a fully-loaded MacBook Pro using Logic Pro X and a different recording studio (It's called Barron Studios, I'm not getting paid to say this or anything, but it's a great studio for all artist, veterans and rookies. Go in there and ask for Jason, he's one of the Senior Engineers there, he's a fucking magician). Then, as the creature of habit that I am, I was was already working on the Mixtape, 'Degenerate'. For this project though, it's different, because it's a collective, it's less of a mixtape and more of a "I'm making these dope ass songs and why make something if you're not going to share it with people?" type of thing, also, it's for free. It's some dope shit, I love doing it, and the one rule I have is I do it the way I want to do it, nobody tells me what to sing or rap about. It's about music and there's no label, no company and no radio station thats ever going to tell me what I can and can't do.
