Renee was bitten by the stage bug as a child while her mother created amazing backdrops for all the local productions of everything. After a childhood of many shows the next stop would be New York where she studied at The Lee Strasberg Institute. She went in a hopeful actress and came out a honed Stage Manager and stage production producer which prepared her for the journey of a lifetime. From there her adventure lead her to Los Angeles where she was hired into the live shows and variety specials circuit including The Academy Awards, Billboard Awards. Miss America Pageant and others. Alas, the love for theater called her name so she answered with a yes to a position as a Stage Manager at The Coconut Grove Playhouse, Miami Florida.
A magical place where amazing talent graced the backstage for many glorious years. She flourished in her dream job. Working with Arthur Miller (her personal hero), Tony Randall and Jack Klugman, Linda Lavin and Julie Harris, just to mention a few was the pinnacle of her career. Renee also stage managed many local productions of theater, showcases, remote stages, live events for various Miami companies. Now, in the golden years, she's able to enjoy the serenity of small town living and the opportunity to explore her imagination in script form.
