Renata Batista is a Brazilian-American actress, director and screenwriter. Renata appeared in several films, such as “A Fronteira”, directed by Roberto Carminati; “One Balloon”, directed by Aruna Naimji and Aran Hekinian. One Balloon was very well received and was selcted for several Festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival in 2005. Following the years, she worked on several features, such as “Sem Controle” directed by Cris D’Amato; “Se eu fosse voce 2”, by the acclaimed director Daniel Filho; “Fall Down Dead” featuring Dominique Swain and David Carradine, directed by Jon Keeyes; “The Alphabet Killer” featuring Cary Elwes & Timothy Hutton, directed by Rob Schmidt; “Bringing up Bobby” with Milla Jojovich & Bill Pullman, directed by Famke Jansen and “Operation Autumn” directed by Bruno de Almeida.
Renata wrote, directed and produced her first film: “Silence”.
She is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
