Jordan “JorDance” Cann and Aaron “Stylez” Thompson are dancers turned filmmakers. The two met as background dancers the summer of 2012 for an upcoming artist and have been inseparable business partners and friends. Whether it was dancing in music videos, commercials, choreographing for music artist, where you saw one, you saw the other. JorDance was raised in Hampton, VA and in 2009 he moved to Los Angeles, CA to elevate his dance career. He had success dancing for artist such as Ne-Yo, Celine Dion, Will.I.Am, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande to name a few. He also had commercial and TV spots ranging from Nickelodeon, Heineken, and Pepsi. Stylez was raised in San Bernardino, CA where he gravitated towards beakdancing. Ironically he was trained by his high school math teacher after class. He later relocated to Los Angeles where he also had success dancing in the film and TV industry and for artist such as Jennifer Lopez, Keyshia Cole, and Usher.
After years of dancing and learning the film business, JorDance and Stylez decided to dabble in production. They produced two short films, “Fallen,” a love story involving two dancers unknowingly falling for the same girl and “My Brothers Keeper,” a follow-up to “Fallen” where JorDance and Stylez battle each other to win the leading lady’s heart. It was after that film where the two found their niche and formed J&S Film Productions. JorDance later enrolled in the Los Angeles film school to get a higher understanding on how to create high-quality film. Under the producing expertise of Stylez, they wrote their first full-length movie, “From Paris to Rome.” Taking their past experiences, failures, and skills they filmed the movie over three months, reaching out to all resources and friends. The movie would focus on a true story of a troubled, hustler on his way to become a superstar dancer. Rome (played by Stylez), would find himself in a world of trouble on the way, leaving his brother, Paris (played by JorDance) to save him before it’s too late. The film is set to release June 18, 2016. JorDance and Stylez aspire to use all of their talents and passions to establish a lucrative film company that uses visual stories with topics in drama, love, action, comedy and sci-fi to inspire people to consistently evolve and to always have faith, even in the darkest moments… J&S Film Productions.
