A bruised and battered man wakes up trapped in a prison with no recollection of when and how he got there. Using only the room and objects around him he starts to painfully put the missing pieces of his entrapment as he attempts to escape from his cell.

Director Biography - Raveen Dev

Raveen Dev is a 32 year old indie filmmaker based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. "Cell" is Raveen Dev's 5th Short Film. His previous short "Ripped"; a horror-comedy about a midnight gym-goer received a number of offical selections from various international film festivals such as the Calgary Horror Con in Alberta Canada, the Los Angeles CineFest & International Shorts in Washington,DC.

His films take inspiration from many of the sci-fi , mystery and suspense films of the early 60s to 90s with figures such as Alfred Hitchcock & Rod Serling (of the Twilight Zone fame) being major influences.
