Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival is a nonprofit community arts festival designed to showcase the work of local and emerging artists, photographers, and filmmakers and engage the community through a diverse calendar of cultural and creative programming. We established RAKFAF to bring the community together to celebrate art, create opportunities for cultural exchange, and support the creative and artistic sectors of the emirate.

- Submitted films must have been completed after February 2021.

- Film submissions are accepted exclusively online at FilmFreeway.

- Only complete entries will be considered, including film poster, film synopsis, director’s bio, and director’s statement.

- Ensure that your screener on FilmFreeway works and has the correct password listed (if password-protected).

- Selected films will be required to submit a high-resolution .mov file for screening.

- Submitted films should adhere to the festival’s theme: In Motion.

- Submitted films will only be accepted under the following categories:

-Narrative
-Animation
-Documentary

- Submitted films must not exceed 30 minutes, including credits.

- Films featuring English audio must include Arabic subtitles and films featuring Arabic audio must include English subtitles. Films in other languages are required to have both Arabic and English subtitles.

- Submissions deadline is May 31, 2023.
