RAJ=KRAJ

"RAJ=KRAJ" is a captivating music video for the song of the same name by the band "s-alt" from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This visual project was created by Edin Suljić as part of his master's thesis at the University of Ljubljana, Academy of Fine Arts and Design.

Set within the intimate confines of a dimly lit room, the video delves into the hidden depths of silence between two individuals. It explores the profound interplay of thoughts and emotions that oscillate between paradise (raj) and the end (kraj). Through a subdued and shadowy atmosphere, the camera breaks the fourth wall, transcending the boundaries of space and immersing the viewer in a contemporary dance narrative.

The focus of the video lies in physical contact, as intricate movements of abstract expressionism come to life through the detailing of faces, hands, and feet. The combination of expressive choreography, evocative facial expressions, and subtle gestures creates a profound and immersive visual experience. As the music unfolds, the camera skillfully captures the nuances of the performers' movements, guiding the audience on a journey from the silence of introspection to the raw emotion embedded within the song itself.

Directed by Edin Suljić, "RAJ=KRAJ" showcases the talents of Jasmina Ibrahimović, who not only portrays a central role but also contributes her expertise as the choreographer. The video features the mesmerizing vocals and lyrics of Filip Marić, accompanied by a musical composition crafted by Filip Marić and Jasmin Avdić. With Edin Suljić's direction, cinematography, and video editing, the video seamlessly weaves together the realms of music, contemporary dance, and introspective visual storytelling.

"RAJ=KRAJ" transcends linguistic barriers, relying on the universal language of emotion and movement to convey its message. It invites viewers to explore the intricate interplay between silence, thoughts, and emotions, while immersing them in an evocative audiovisual experience that lingers long after the final note fades away.
