Efehan is an interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto, working in animation, video, and digital. Since graduating from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2008 he has worked on numerous creative short films and commercial projects. His films have been screened at festivals in Toronto, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, and selected online as Vimeo Staff Picks. Most recently he is compositing and animating for children’s television, creating his next book, and dreaming of the next film.
Sometimes the most memorable events of our lives have no follow-through. Not every glance leads to our next big love, and not every first kiss results in a rollercoaster relationship. An ode to the small but striking joys and disappointments, Rainfall is our hopeful attempt to tell a small story situated in a big city, in a world and aesthetic that is wholly crafted yet appears to be a spontaneous mix between the real and the drawn.
Above all, I hope that Rainfall will bring to mind a short but powerful experience, whether yesterday or years past: a moment of growth or regret. Our very own kiss in the storm.
