Experiencing Interruptions?

puzzle

This was the project that I completed for my fine art degree show. It was exhibited as a two-channel video installation synchronised together.
The two-channel video installation contains visual allegories of sexism that Muslim women deal with every day. As a result of the male elite, her identity is reduced. There are two voices: the male gaze and the voice behind the text that appears on the screen gradually according to the narrative play. Suddenly, the direction of talking fades away and puts the viewers in play. The screens mirror the duality: the veiled and not veiled female. When both exchange the screens, they integrate, their identity goes beyond their clothes and face.
