“A waving ray of the red light tore through the deep darkness of the room.” - That was the most cherished memory of my childhood when I used to develop rolls of film in my father’s studio. My memories were mixed with the unique scent from the solution of thionic acid and salts. When the image gradually appeared in front of my eyes under the somber red light; a kind of miraculous pleasure came rushing in.

Born in a nurturing atmosphere, I had my first Ricoh film camera when I was seven years old and successfully printed my first photo independently one year later. Photography was introduced to me by my father. Cherishing the moments I shared with him, I felt a strong link to it thinking that one day I will become an amazing storyteller.
