Immortal wildlife

The project includes a series of wildlife photographs taken during safari in African countries and aimed at representing the uncontaminated and wild nature and the creatures that inhabit it. The project tells about the fantastic sighting of animals into the wild, of the emotion aroused by the wilderness and of its power to evoke in man the sense of the sublime, restoring a relationship of symbiosis with nature. There are beautiful places on earth, but what makes them unique and special are the wild creatures that inhabit them. We can remember great natural scenaries but what will remain imprinted in our memory will be that particular moment that connects a place and a living being in the magic of a moment immortalized by photography. The images of animals focus on the importance of preserving ecosystems and biodiversity: some species on the brink of extinction are presented within the project. Other images focus attention on the relationship between animals and landscape and on the environmental impact of phenomena such as climate change, global warming and desertification. In my wildlife photography production I seek to convey a message enviromental protection and wildlife safeguard by stimulating collective perception and awareness about the values of biodiversity and of uniqueness of animal species.
