letters

A poignant tale of friendship between a lonely old man (Kevin) and his equally lonely young postman (Malcolm).

The first film in a trilogy of short films exploring the themes of loneliness, old age and dementia. letters is an intimate look at how lonely it can sometimes be living in a big city.

letters was selected for the Beeston Film Festival (2015) and the Norwich Film Festival (2015), where it was also nominated for Best Short Film. It was a finalist in the FILMSshorts competition (2018) and was selected for the Purbeck Film Festival (2018), where it won the Audience Award for Best Short Feature.

Director Biography - Anthony Hett

Anthony is a London based Welsh Writer/Director who graduated from City University of London in 2011, with an MA Creative Writing (Plays & Screenplays). The Apex Arts' funded letters is his debut short film.
