Crowded Sakeb

Crowded Sakeb is a participatory documentary about the high birth-rates in a small village in Jordan called “Sakeb”.
According to an international study published in 1991, the birth-rate in Sakeb reached 3.9 that year, which was considered the highest community level in population increase worldwide.
This documentary will take you in a journey through the experience of parents who had 10 and more children, raising them happily and proudly. These families have strong bonds and unique satisfaction while they live in their village with simplicity, kindness, and tradition.

Director Biography - Rama Obeid

A 20 year-old Jordanian Filmmaker, studies Digital Filmmaking at SAE institute - Amman. Director of a short film called “Nos Lera”, Director of "Crowded Sakeb" short documentary, Producer of a music clip for the song “ Chivalry is Dead”, worked as an Assistant Director for several student projects while studying Filmmaking in the institute.
