Director Statement

Matron of Honor was inspired by a salon location and quite ironically, by my engagement to be married this summer. I was interested in exploring the head-space of someone on their wedding day. I also wanted to explore the relationship between a client and a stylist. I am a fan of Giallo movies and wanted to start playing with that style. This was my first time writing and directing, and I think the combination comes quite organically. Thank you for your consideration. I hope you enjoy the film!
