Experiencing Interruptions?

The Smell of the Sun

The action of the film takes place within one human memory. For already many years the protagonist have been living in his memories of failed love. Each time the protagonist inhales the smell of the sun, he moves in time and space, reviving the mornings of happiness and then their disappearance. The surrounding circumstances, abstract thoughts, poems, nature shine through his nostalgie. Some memories merge with lyrical digressions to such extent that the spectator begins to doubt what is happening with the protagonist, did this love of his exist or was it created by his imagination ?
What helps the protagonist to digest the pain of his loss is the literature of a French writer Francoise Sagan. Through her thoughts and feelings the hero acquires a long-awaited serenity, naked happiness ...
