Ranthambhor: The Untold Saga

(World Premiere) This is the story of Ranthambhor: of the invincible fort that, for centuries, remained unconquered by war. The story of the valiant Maharaja Hammir Dev Chauhan- the forgotten hero, who put down everything at stake to protect and uphold the glory of his motherland.

The film conducts, for the first time, pioneering frontline research on the archaeology and history of one of the most ancient forts of India, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thus revealing the untold saga of India's most impregnable fort which is a real, living representative of the glorious Indian history, culture and those dauntless warriors who laid down their lives for their country.

The film features rare endangered ancient Indian Dhrupad music by the only woman Rajasthani Dhrupad singer Dr. Madhu Bhatt Tailang- the last of her lineage, that takes the story forward along with the powerful vocal narrative and the strong visuals in every frame.

The film seeks to raise mass awareness towards the conservation of our rich ancient heritage and culture by showcasing these glorious representatives of a distant past that still echoes, waiting to be heard, discovered, conserved, and admired.
