Uri L. Schwarz and Jason A. Sankey grew up together in Hong Kong and graduated from the same high school. After they graduated, they always wanted to collaborate on a project that had meaning to them both. Stories Forlorn became this project.

Uri comes from an experienced international background of film and television production. Having graduated from Emerson College, Boston, with a B.F.A. in film (Cum Laude), he has since worked in television and film, in various capacities in Copenhagen, Denmark and Hong Kong, where he was born and grew up, respectively, as well as in the United States.

Early on he became an associate producer on By Demand and The Mint, two live network television shows, for Channel [V] of Star TV Networks, where he also directed segments for the shows. Most recently he was a co-producer on the upcoming feature film Lady Bloodfight (2016), distributed by Voltage Pictures. He co-produced and DOP'd the feature, Drop In Drop Out: 11 Miles to Paradise, which won the Jamaica Intl. Reggae Festival and was in competition at the Santa Cruz Film Festival (2011); he was the director and DoP of the short film Voluspa, which won at The New York International Film Festival in New York and LA (2003); as well as Bums in the Mist, Official selection at the HBO US Comedy Arts festival in Aspen (2002), on which he served as executive producer and cinematographer. He independently produced/directed and DoP’d a series, named “Girls Fight Club” (2007), in Las Vegas, which stars past Ultimate Fighting Champions as well as numerous fighters including Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, and more (aired on FX Network, Fox International in Asia among many other Asian networks). They are still in release and available in major online retailers and VOD.

His full filmography can be found here:
