Enactone

Sky Deep is a Berlin based artist -- born in the USA. Her film, Enactone is her directorial debut and directly connects to her music career and activism with it's sound design and political story. Sky Deep also made her big screen debut as the lead actor in the film.

Outside of filmmaking, Sky Deep's primary activities are in music. From launching a label, curating a festival and running a successful club-night to producing award-winning films, Sky Deep is much more than a DJ/Producer. Based in Berlin, she has lived half her life in NYC and Los Angeles. She has been a touring performer through Europe and USA for the last several years having worked as a guitarist and vocalist. Recently, music icon, Peaches has brought Sky on as a core multi-instrumentalist in her touring band in such German venues as Deutsch Oper, Volksbühne in Berlin and at London's Royal Festival Hall.

As a community and arts activist, Sky Deep created and curated the Reclaim the Beats Festival in Berlin - which advocates for the visibility of people of color and queer people in the music industry. She is also an active member of the female:pressure collective - an international network of female artists in the fields of electronic music and digital arts.
