--------
I've always said to myself that if I ever had the opportunity to make a film, write a novel, or at least tell a story, I'd like it to be, humbly, in the spirit of Marc Behm's “Dime Novel”, my favorite book, which fascinates me for years.
It's a very visual story with a vivid imagination,
many twists and turns, a mix of genres, burlesque situations.
And, behind the zany plot, a satire tinged with black humor cleverly slips in.
I can’t beat Marc Behm, but I've tried my best with Fictionrama to tell a story that's “not too predictable” and entertaining, while at the same time pointing the finger at some of our society's shortcomings. Much of it is freely inspired by my own experience.
I also wanted to show the beauty and crazyness of life in constant transformation.
( Isn't that a huge cliché? )
