Artist Statement

Through my life situation and during my art art career I lived and worked until now in different places and countries. Among others, Germany, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Armenia, Lithuania, Argentina, Australia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, China, Taiwan, Russia, Mexico, Ghana and Nepal. This type of lifestyle and artistic career ultimately had a great impact on my vision and my concepts as an artist. To be in motion, the urgency to cross the boundaries, nowhere to feel at home and a mental restlessness became an important source of inspection. The disciplines I work with included, video, photography, performance, installation (land art) and printmaking (lino cut & digital). By these means my work developed since 2014 a strong interdisciplinary and collaborative approach. In general the work focus on subjects within among others on culture issues, the social, urban and rural environments we live in and be created by our self. Gender and sexuality issuesAs well identity and crossing borders issues (mentally as well as physical)
I am interested in isolating these subjects respectively objects, cataloging them, analyzing them and studying them in detail. Deepening the context in which they find themselves, how they differ from one place to another, neighborhoods or communities. Finally how they relate to and connect with each other
