Director Statement

In "Playback", I aimed invert the warmth of a home to expose the underlying – almost supernatural – quality of familial resentment . By retreating from on-screen thrills and minimizing the movement of space, I wanted the horror to settle into the audience through auditory and psychological dissonance.
