Daniel Pappas lives and works in the same city he was born and raised in: Dallas, Texas. His passion for film started at an early when he met Dallas local David Lowery (Pete's Dragon, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, and A Ghost Story) before Lowery's films made it into theaters everywhere. Daniel took heart from Lowery's advice: "Just keep making movies." He applied that advice and after a year of volunteering in Peru post-college he put together the production of Pillow Talk. His goal with the movie was simply: to make it. With no money, a small group of friends, and the inventive script Daniel pitched a movie that was the easiest to make but yielded the most amount of joy for everyone involved. Now Daniel looks forward to each new project as a way to learn new filmmaking skill sets. He has his sights set on producing another short in this upcoming summer.
