Through this short film, I aim to shine a light on the often unnoticed irony of false advertising in our modern world. I wanted to take a humorous and satirical approach to highlight how these misleading promises can have a ripple effect, causing frustration and chaos in people’s lives. Just like Michael. Who faced a relatively trivial inconvenience, we wanted to provoke the thought about the more significant consequences that deceptive marketing can have, like mounting debts or basic needs going unmet. In a world where we’re constantly bombarded with exaggerated claims and glossy commercials, I hope this film will serve as a lighthearted reminder to question what we see and hear. It’s a call to action to be more discerning consumers and to demand transparency from those who aim to persuade us. By using humor and irony, I hope to encourage discussions about the real-world implications of false advertising and inspire positive change in the way products and services are promoted and consumed.
