Experimental Short Film Festival
The call for the first international independent Persian experimental short film festival has been published. In the heart of the Iranian capital, Tehran, the first online event of the Persian independent experimental short film festival focusing on world peace and Covid 19 as well as alternative filmmaking will be held freely. Experimental filmmakers and Experimental music video makers can participate. This festival is held online by the Zabt art group and under the secretary of Omid Mahdavi, which will be screened exclusively after selecting the works on the Zabt Studio YouTube platform. Interaction with the audience will also be created through Instagram, voting for each short film will be done and artists in different fields will be introduced

Rules & Terms

: Acceptance conditions: Films that are their first world screening will be given priority. ........................................... Acceptable versions (: DCP, Apple ProRes 4444, Full HD file with English subtitles) Film production date: 2020 - 2021 .................................................... The maximum movie time is 30 minutes. The festival application form must be completed by the film producer (s) or legal distributor. Acceptance of the conditions set forth in the regulations The festival secretary decides on all unforeseen events. ...................................................... Participating in the festival means accepting all the rules of the festival. Note: Registration and submission of works in the festival is only possible online. ................................................. Films that enter the competition must have English subtitles. Films that do not meet the required technical standards will be excluded from the competition at the discretion of the festival secretariat............................................. After sending the films to the festival, it is not possible to remove them from the festival program. Completing the application form to participate in the festival means accepting all the announced rules. Films made by institutions and organizations or from public and governmental sources will only be available for online display if a written agreement is reached between them and the written consent of the owner or legal owners of the film. Films that make it to the competition will receive a certificate of participation in the festival.
