Director Statement

This film is made for the people who suffer social anxiety and has built strong barriers around themselves so that they may feel "safe". The lingering thoughts of self-doubt and the constant fear of being judge by others are real and are preventing people to experience an event (such as high school life) to the fullest. In a way, this film challenges people to open up and change when the right people come; as a line from a song — "Take on Me" by a-ha — goes: "it's no better to be safe than sorry".

This film is also made to celebrate the things that make high school meaningful — the people and the memories they instill. This is our love letter to you, high school; thank you for everything! This is our time capsule we'll leave for you.
