Pelago
A young girl named Maggie tries to deal with the loss of her lover, remembering his promises and the place where they first met. Now she has to face her lack of self-confidence, the same lack that encouraged her to start a relation with an older man that she identified as her lighthouse in the storm.

Edoardo Sandulli
Edoardo Sandulli is an Italian director. He was born in Moncalieri, near Turin, on the 11th of April 1993 and then moved to a small town near Avellino. At the age of 19 he moved to Milan, to attend the Politecnico di Milano, where he graduated in Design and Communication. After getting the degree, Edoardo started his career as a photographer. A couple of months later he met Simone Biagini (DoP), who took the young photographer under his aegis and taught him that cinema is much more than only a passion. That was the moment in which Edoardo decided to become a Director.
Pelago is my way of seeing a generation (my generation) that lacks in self-confidence. We're not able to fight for our lives, for what we want to do with our lives, because we think we're not able to do it. We think that anybody is better than us, we strongly believe that, that's why we try to find someone and make that person our "lighthouse in the storm" as i wrote in the synopsis. This means that the chosen one is transformed in a storage, a self-confident storage on which we can always count. But what happens when the storage goes away? What are our feelings when we lost the only depository of our self-confidence? We go back to the oblivion, we go back to our only certainty: we do not count anything. Now Maggie, wherever she is, is still hoping that all of the promises made by Greg are still true. Unfortunately for her, they were the words of a middle age man that wanted to live a new kind of youth, despite the feelings of this weak girl.
