Peggy's passion for film evolved into a professional aspiration mid career when she attended the Nashville Screenwriters Conferences. "Inspired by screenwriters I met there, I began screenwriting while working and raising a daughter as a single mom. After having a short produced by a local filmmaker and winning a screenplay competition I realized not only can I do this, but my voice- unique to women overcoming a lack of generational opportunity- should be heard."
