Passenger
Passenger tells the story of a broken young woman, Maija, struggling with anxiety against a world that she doesn’t understand. When Maija awakes on a train and finds herself in a strange town, it takes all the willpower she can muster to navigate through it and break away from the visual representation of her illness – a woman hell bent on keeping her trapped. As she progresses through the checklist given to her upon her arrival, Maija begins to shake off the disease that has kept her bound to her “friend” and slowly regains her will. As she grows stronger, her conceptualised world reveals itself to be what it was all along: a coping mechanism. The fabricated town shatters, leaving behind Maija’s illness with it, and she is ushered in to a new world of hope.
