Our Tokyo
'Our Tokyo' is the melancholic docu-fiction story of a brother who visits Japan on behalf of his ill sister, only to encounter the realities of Japan - as seen through the eyes of real-life international individuals and their interviews.
In specific, he documents his global experience (by writing, by filming about his time), as his sister's illness prevents her from leaving home. However, he has accepted her wish not only for her sake, but - instead - for a much more deeply-held, personal motivation entirely.

I hail from the Midwest - Ohio, to be precise! Following eighteen grand years there, I attended Film School at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, pursuing my intent of Writing and Direction for feature-filmmaking. In addition, I crafted my first independent feature, 'Our Tokyo'. Currently, I am writing my second feature screenplay - an internationally-oriented love story.
To this individual, film is an astounding means of relaying truth, import and joy to others. In all of the work I pursue, I strive to craft beautiful and human pieces that inspire men and women of all backgrounds, across the entire world. And, in all of my work - whether dramatic or less so - I always try to abide by this: to create internationally-minded narrative filmmaking that bestows genuine emotion to viewers, while provoking deeply-worthwhile thought - on a global scale.
