Christina Sbraccia was born and raised in California and from as early on as she can remember, loved storytelling. For her 13th birthday she begged her parents to get her a camcorder which inspired her to create stories, not just through writing, but through the visual medium.
After moving to Arizona at the age of 15, Christina took TV Production class all throughout high school which reinforced her desire to continue onto film school. She finished the Film Production and Screenwriting track at Scottsdale Community College, receiving an Associate degree in Motion Picture Production and another in Art. She will be graduating from Northern Arizona University with her Bachelor's degree in Humanities with a focus in Screenwriting. She continues to work on film and screenwriting projects in Arizona where she resides.
Our Last Summer is loosely based off of my own life experiences, making this project quite intimate for me. Although, extremely nervous as to how people would feel after reading the script, I was pleasantly surprised to find that nearly everyone could relate (one way or another) to the story and the characters. It reasserted to me that telling stories within the film medium was not only a way for me to express myself, but to bring others together. The experience of making Our Last Summer will always be one that I am extremely proud of.
