The Oregon Coast Film Festival returns in 2025! Presented by the Egyptian Theatre of Coos Bay, Oregon.

We are seeking exclusively Oregon films: short films (under 20 min) made in Oregon and/or by filmmakers currently residing in Oregon. We know this may limit the size of our event, but we want to focus on local filmmaking/filmmakers. (Keep it local!) We are looking for documentary, fiction, and freeform shorts that have a connection to the people, culture, environment, landscape, and artists of Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, the western oceans, and the eastern desert.

The Oregon Coast Film Festival previously ran from 2013 to 2020. The Egyptian Theatre in Coos Bay, Oregon has 4K projection capability for the best audience viewing experience.

I love the Egyptian. I grew up going here and it's still my favorite place to see a film. It was awesome to finally have a chance to participate in the Oregon Coast Film Festival. All of the films were excellent and I feel like the winners were a perfect choice.

Due to a conflict, I was not able to attend the festival in person, but the communication was great, and it was an honor to be included in the festival.

I had a tremendous time at the Oregon Coast Film Festival (OCFF)! The classic 100-year-old Egyptian Theatre is an ideal place to see the work of Oregon filmmakers. The wide range of films offered something for everyone. And festival organizers/volunteers couldn't have been more welcoming. Oregon filmmakers shouldn't miss this one in 2026!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed the Oregon Coast Film Festival. The Egyptian Theater is not to be missed. Coos Bay and environs is a wondrous place to visit. It's 'off the beaten path,' but of course that's a big part of the reason to go. The hosts were gracious and the audience appreciative of the offerings. But that theater! Wow. I hope to return.
