Director Biography - Cali Treadwell Rossen

I began my Directors journey by editing my acting reels out of necessity. Then after auditioning for Director Darrin Scott he asked me to be an actor in a segment for his 2 day Directing workshop and I stayed the entire time to learn what he was teaching about Directing. That next month I began filming promotional videos for musicians, then a luxury furniture designer, then an entertainment company and a few scenes for a trailer for a feature film. . .and then I just kept going.

Director Statement

As a creative I love all forms of art, and film art is among my most favorite, as it encompasses a broad range of mediums. Still and motion pictures, music, acting, dance, and more. One's imagination can soar, and deep emotions can surprisingly surface to be felt with the potential to heal. It is a way to express a wee part of oneself. . .such a vast territory yet to be discovered. Capturing a moment in time is in the realms of the unknown, as you never know exactly what will unfold as it does.
