Born and raised in Athens, Greece in 1991, he moved to the island of Corfu to study Audiovisual Arts in the Ionian University. He has worked as director, editor and assistant director in short films, TV commercials and music videos.
In summer 2013, I experienced a severe writer's block. I was waiting impatiently for a new idea to come. Focusing more on this weird kind of panic than on creating something new, I ended up with no new ideas by the end of summer.
This is when a friend of mine suggested that I write something about waiting. The idea appealed to me at once; it was, as it seemed, the only thing I was able to write about at the time.
This first spark turned into this little film with the help of crowdfunding, separated into four small stories about four people who wait for something special. The only common point of those four stories is the condition; all four characters wait. And as they're waiting, the camera serves as a peephole, from which we see something deeper about those people's feelings, wishes and fears.
