FemmeKraft; the Los Angeles based record label that blurs the line between genre and gender, offers a powerful dose of internet nostalgia with the world premier of Raja Gemini’s “SHOES” music video.

Raja, winner of season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and famed makeup artist on America’s Next Top Model, is here to remind everyone just who she really is; a ROCKSTAR. After sitting with Tyler Stone, the song’s composer and video auteur, “SHOES: The Reboot” was incepted. “SHOES” delivers the perfect combination of techno, metal, and FIERCE. The song and video also features its original artist and creator, Kelly.

“SHOES” drops us right into the global experience of 2020, a lockdown. All dressed up with nowhere to go, Raja must Entertain herself while escaping into a fantasy land of fetish and house beats. Raja, known for her chameleon-like style, drives the narrative home with a vast collection over decades of custom, curated, and found objet d’art that his her obsession.

“SHOES” is a modern reboot of the cult-classic and wildly shared viral sensation performed by Kelly. The angsty and misunderstood teen character was created by Liam Kyle Sullivan in 2006; and was met with immediate internet success, branding it one of the first viral music videos ever released onto the internet and gaining around 67 million views.
