Observation Diary on Escaped Animals

In anarchy after the outbreak of the Epsilon V epidemic, animals in human forms are created during the development of vaccines. Yoo Mi Ra, a former soldier, and Gong Soo Chul, who claims to be an animal communicator, start to trace the family who escaped from the laboratory.

PARK joo eun was born in 1980, Seoul, and made his debut as director with short film <Nearby> in 2007. This film was awarded to the CANNESLIONS the korean national team. PARK’s directed first feature film <Observation diary on escaped animals> in 2023.

At the beginning of the movie, Schopenhauer's sentence, "The world is my representation," is connected to the image of the heroine lying on the back of a VR device in the final scene.
The world is dystopian reality, and representation are illusions viewed by the heroine.
Power, belonging, family, honor...

Since there is no utopia where everyone lives well, are humans just beings living by enduring?
Will Utopia come if I can endure and live hard?
