SONIA MACHADO HINES was born and partially raised in Havana. Her native Cuban roots have instilled in her a high work ethic that is inspired by the love of many cultures, which enhances the quality of her work. Her production company Black ++ Productions was inspired as a result of her success with producers, writers and other Hollywood executives. She has directed and or produced 18 projects so far in 2 years including an award winning music video, and a feature length documentary. In that time, she has won numerous awards for top Emerging Director or Best Director as well as Best Dramatic Short Film etc. She recently directed another short film in Spain that has gotten raves from film and studio executives. Sonia is actively involved with the Women in Film organization, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the International Documentary Association as well as NYFEST charity soccer activities that take place yearly as part of the Tribeca Film Festival. Sonia currently resides in Orange County, CA with her husband.
TERENCE BERNIE HINES has been a working actor in Hollywood for two decades. He started working with his wife in their production company in 2018 writing, directing and producing projects that he strongly believed in that shined a light on stories that needed to be told. His first directorial achievement is as co-director on the documentary: "Hiplet", which is an uplifting story that takes place in the inner-city of Chicago.
