Kalif Fuller was born in Denver, Colorado and has been involved in the arts since he was a child. As he developed into his teenage years, films become an obsession and the desire to learn more about the craft of filmmaking became a passion. Kalif went on to study film at the University of Kansas, and after receiving his B.G.S. in Film and Media Studies he moved to Los Angeles, CA to freelance on studio feature films. #DirtyLooks is Kalif’s 4th short film and he currently has two more shorts in pre-production, and is writing a feature film as well.
This film is a satirical look at the behavior that surrounds social-media culture and the ever-increasing obsession with social-media. History has shown us that people can take social conventions to the extreme and this film plays with that premise. Additionally, the film asks; if someone valued their online presence more than a real-world existence, would that push them to becoming violent?
