انتظر - I wait
It has been 40 years since the Saharawi population became refugees in Algeria because of the Moroccan occupation. As the POLISARIO government tries to solve the conflict with institutional help, Saharawi youngsters advocate for armed conflict. While they wait, the cinema will be their only weapon.

In the same year she graduates from Media and Film studies with extraordinary acknowledgements in Universidad Carlos III. Ever since, she has worked writing and directing pieces to spread the knowledge of different social causes in Greece, Italy and Spain.
Sidibrahim and his friends are more or less our age, and we share the same passion for cinema. However, they never met their homeland: they were born displaced, in diaspora, and with the political responsability of solving a conflict that is in a continuous state of stand-by. In this context, saharawi youngsters see in the war the only solution to press the UN. In the meantime, they study cinema so more people can know about the conflict.
We lived with them for several weeks: we shot and watched movies, we talked a lot and we were realizing that time was passing only when it was time for another tea. This short movie is our tiny effort to show how a population that has been historically pacific is losing its patience, and these youngsters have nothing to lose.
