Honourable Mention
Born and raised in London, England, Taras studied Psychology at Brunel University before completing his debut zero budget feature film “The Profesional”, misspelled on purpose, which went on to win numerous awards including “Best Horror/Suspense Feature Film” at the I Filmmaker International Film Festival in Marbella, alongside Oscar nominated and BAFTA winner Ridley Scott produced short “Zero”. A self taught writer/director highly influenced from the Quentin Tarantino DIY film school movement in the nineties, Taras honed his skills in a variety of roles whilst making award winning music videos in his teens. Taras recently moved to Vancouver after finishing his short film “Nowhere”, a tragic tale of homelessness in London, which is currently in its festival run having won "Best Story" at the New Renaissance Film Festival in Amsterdam as well as being being screened at Cannes, Marbella and more.
