I made a big stew of weirdos and freaks
Joel Clark began writing and producing comedy in 2003 as a founding member of the early internet sketch group Olde English, working alongside Raphael Bob-Waksberg (BoJack Horseman) and Adam Conover (Adam Ruins Everything) at tender ages. He has since co-written 5 films, including Man From Reno (Dave Boyle, 2015), which was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Based in Bushwick for 10 years, Clark continued writing and producing comedic and experimental performances, as well as producing several of co-star and producer Crichton Atkinson's plays off off Broadway. In that time, he met and worked with notorious performers such as Greg Zuccolo, Daniel Berkey, Marguerite Van Cook, Todd Colby, Anthony Lopez, and Olimpia Dior. His partner Crichton Atkinson is a queer performer and director, and Clark and Atkinson often write and perform comedy together.
