This is the story of the man who can't find a meaning to live. Mr. Makoto Akai is the chief character who moved to Toyosato Town, the neighboring town from Ishinomaki City, after the East Japan Great Earthquake Disaster. He lost his wife and two children in the tsunami. So he lives alone and spends gloomily every day. He is thinking of committing suicide because he can’t forget his family. His daily routine is to listen to the recording message that his wife left. One day, he meets a young woman who is in trouble with her bicycle puncture in the street. He helps her with her bicycle to be repaired and allows her stay with him for 2 days.
The communication with her brought him the positive way of thinking and gave him a new step of joining the activities in the community center.

Kanegae Minoru was born on May 24, 1966 in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. He lives in Osaka.
He was mainly engaged in the production of TV dramas as in Toshiba Sunday Theater and the series of TV dramas produced by Mainichi Broadcasting System.
He also directed some TV dramas produced by Asahi Broadcasting Corporation and some other broadcasting stations.
Besides TV dramas, he was in charge of the TV coverage programs of the world heritage and the special programs of Kyoto and Nara.
He also directs and produces the stages and events diligently.
Now he works as a freelance, and he is active in many spheres of TV programs and movies.
