Jared Cooley graduated with a AS Film Production Technology degree from Valencia College in Orlando Florida under Ralph Clemente. There he got work as a script supervisor so he could work closely with directors and their scripts to learn from their strengths and avoid their shortcomings.
Noose Jumpers is his third short film continuing to expand his work in different genres.
Noose Jumpers was shot in two days on Bonanza Creek Ranch movie town on a shoe string budget. We were able to work with amazing veteran actors along with some new talent. It was shot with all natural lighting on a Sony S7 in 4K in a 2.40 aspect ratio. The lenses used were very old adding to the warmth of the image. Loosely based off of a Novel by Trevor Cooley in turn was based off of an outline for a TV show version developed by the author and the director. Post sound designed was produced at Universal Studios Florida.
