Take Me to the Non-Breathers is a passion project that I have been wanting to make for a long time. A story that depicts the hardships of moving on from the death of loved ones is something that strikes close to my heart. I lost my father a few years ago and was depressed. As a filmmaker, I try to bring something personal to my stories. With the help of Farid Rahman, who is a good writer, I have obtained a script that is worth producing in my opinion. I hope that this short film will touch people who have been struggling with said topic and inittiate a conversation among audience. After being selected for the Finas 3rd YoungFilmmakers Workshop 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, I am excited to direct another short film to apply what I have learned. I am also grateful to have a great team that can bring this story to its potential.
