Neer Musa Shelter is a writer of Egyptian-British descent who grew up on cargo ships around the world and is represented by The Cartel. He's ex-military, a 3rd Dan Black Belt, and a film school graduate with a bachelor's degree. Neer's life experiences give him a unique multicultural insight that informs his writing. This resulted in a multi-award winning slate of specs that appeal to a global audience. Two of his shorts qualified for the Academy Awards, he is a Page Award gold winner, a Final Draft's Big Break winner, an AWG Monte Miller award winner, a semi-finalist in the Academy Nicholl screenwriting contest, an Austin Film Festival finalist, a St Kilda Film Fest best short winner, and many more. He gained years of experience in the industry, reading for companies such as StudioCanal, Coverfly, and The Story Doctor. Neer also worked on set and in post on multiple films and series, including; Elvis, Thor, The Great Gatsby, The Wolverine, Gods of Egypt, Top of the Lake, and many more.
