Who are those figures? What's attracting them from the sea?
What are they searching for in their memories?
Neo-tardive Ulysses and Penelope..
Each one's Odissey: slowness of being,
infinite and elusive wonder of the time passing,
touch of journeys, touch of memento.

NESSUNO (meaning "nobody") was born inside the Mut(i)azioni project as part of a festival of old silent movies proposed with live sound on the original images.
Mut(i)azioni festival for its 2016 edition, as well as renewing the interest for old (forgotten od wellknown) movies, moves in the direction of supporting old and young videomakers, offering the chance and the challenge for producing silent short movies to be proyected as opening movies at the main proyections, with the same topic of the main movie and the same sound format: live sound on silent movie.

NESSUNO as been produced as opening short movie before the proyection of ODISSEA (1911).
The first projection took place on fryday the 4th of March 2016 at L'Asilo in Napoli, south Italy.
