NeoDiaspora

NeoDiaspora refers to the groups of second and third generation immigrants caught in-between the culture of their ancestry and that of their birthplace. This term, first coined by the artist, Abbas Zahedi, is a comment on the internationality of today's society.

Mirroring Zahedi's lecture performances, we weave between spoken word, anecdote and action, following Abbas, as he discusses the experience and thoughts behind this non-binary and confusing existance.
