In February of this year, I spent 17 days hiking through the desert with my childhood buddy Eli.
We made this video to share our mad desert adventure with the world.
During parts of the hike we were challenged with sharp ascents over narrow mountain ridges; deathly drops awaited us on either side should we make a misstep. Those had me terrified.
And I suppose that was the point. We had hoped to get a taste of the magnificent range of mother nature’s power, and to our retrospective delight, even when we thought she was being most hostile with hail storms, heavy winds, and daunting climbs, it was just her way of saying ‘boys, you are tougher than you think.’
