Writer Biography - christine inserra

For over 35 years I have been touching people with my hands as a physical therapist and with music as a singer songwriter. I aspire to touch people with my screenplays.
Humor and hope are expressed in my work as I draw from all the stories of people I have met. I consider people unwrapped gifts and their stories a way of opening and sharing them. True stories and ones with complex women characters inspire me.

Writer Statement

Social justice issues close to my heart, such as school shootings, the Dakota Access Pipeline, and Native American struggle, and gender fluidity all informed this highly dramatic, romantic adventure.
