Mikayla is a queer writer and filmmaker with her BA in film and her MFA in TV/screenwriting. She is a writer and host for KSPS Saturday Night Cinema, an Emmy-winning video editor, and a film actor/writer/director. She is a regular contributor to "The Journal of Screenwriting" as well as multiple online publications and has an essay in the book " When Women Wrote Hollywood"
